Terms & Conditions of Sale

Last updated: 18th May 2026

These Terms & Conditions of Sale apply to all purchases made through the official Plico Magazine website and online store: plicomagazine.com.

By placing an order, pre-order, or completing a purchase through this website, you agree to be bound by the terms set out below. Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before placing an order. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not proceed with your purchase.

1. Seller Information

The products sold through this website are offered by:

Plico Magazine
Website: plicomagazine.com
Contact email: hello@plicomagazine.com
Based between Paris and Rome

For any questions regarding orders, shipping, delivery, product information, or customer service, customers may contact us at hello@plicomagazine.com.

2. Products

Plico Magazine is an independent print publication. Products available through the online store may include printed magazines, limited editions, editorial objects, merchandise, or other related products.

Each product is described as accurately as possible on the product page. However, slight variations may occur between the images displayed online and the final physical product, including but not limited to colour, paper texture, print finish, binding, scale, layout details, packaging, or production details.

Product images, previews, mockups, and visual materials are provided for illustrative and editorial purposes only. They should not be considered an exact contractual representation of the final physical product.

3. Pre-Orders

Certain products may be made available for purchase as pre-orders before their official release or dispatch date.

By placing a pre-order, the customer acknowledges and accepts that:
  • the product is not available for immediate shipment;
  • the estimated shipping or dispatch date is indicative and may be subject to change;
  • production, printing, binding, supplier delays, customs, courier issues, or logistical circumstances may affect the final dispatch date;
  • the order is confirmed at the time of payment;
  • the customer is reserving a copy of a limited or upcoming publication.

Pre-orders help support the production, printing, and distribution of the magazine. For this reason, and due to the limited editorial and production nature of the publication, pre-orders are considered final once placed.

4. No Refunds or Cancellations on Pre-Orders

All pre-orders are final sale.

Once a pre-order has been placed and payment has been confirmed, it cannot be cancelled, refunded, exchanged, or modified by the customer, except where required by applicable mandatory consumer law.

This policy applies because pre-orders are used to reserve stock, estimate production needs, manage print quantities, organize fulfilment, and prepare shipping logistics in advance.

By placing a pre-order, the customer expressly acknowledges that:
  • they are purchasing a product before its dispatch date;
  • the estimated dispatch or shipping date may change;
  • the order cannot be cancelled because of a change of mind;
  • the order cannot be refunded because of a reasonable production, fulfilment, or shipping delay;
  • the order cannot be exchanged for another product unless expressly approved by Plico Magazine;
  • the order is final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.

This does not affect any mandatory legal rights the customer may have under applicable law in the case of defective products, non-delivery, or other legally recognized claims.

5. Right of Withdrawal

For customers purchasing from the European Union, consumer protection laws may provide a right of withdrawal for certain online purchases.

However, certain products may be excluded from the right of withdrawal under applicable law, including newspapers, periodicals, magazines, and similar editorial publications purchased individually.

As Plico Magazine is a printed periodical / magazine publication, individual magazine purchases and pre-orders may fall within these exceptions, where applicable.

Where the right of withdrawal does not apply, the purchase is final and non-refundable.

Where mandatory consumer law grants the customer a right of withdrawal that cannot be excluded, Plico Magazine will comply with applicable legal obligations.

6. Prices

All prices are displayed on the website in the currency indicated at checkout.

Prices may vary depending on:
  • product type;
  • customer location;
  • shipping region;
  • taxes;
  • duties;
  • currency conversion;
  • special pre-order pricing;
  • promotional pricing;
  • limited edition status.

Plico Magazine reserves the right to modify prices at any time. However, the price charged to the customer will be the price displayed and accepted at the time the order is placed.

Pre-order prices may be lower than the final retail price. Once the pre-order period has ended, Plico Magazine reserves the right to increase the price without prior notice.

7. Shipping Costs and Shipping Region

Shipping costs are calculated or selected according to the customer’s shipping region.

The customer is solely responsible for selecting the correct shipping region at checkout. If the customer selects an incorrect shipping region, shipping rate, or destination option, Plico Magazine reserves the right to:
  • contact the customer to request payment of the difference;
  • delay the shipment until the correct shipping fee is paid;
  • cancel the order if the correct shipping fee is not paid;
  • adjust the order manually where possible.

Shipping costs are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or where the order cannot be fulfilled by Plico Magazine.

8. Taxes, Duties, Customs and Local Charges

The customer is solely responsible for any and all taxes, import duties, customs fees, VAT, sales tax, handling fees, brokerage fees, postal charges, courier fees, administrative fees, or any other local charges applied by the destination country, customs authority, courier, postal service, or payment provider.

These charges are not controlled by Plico Magazine and may vary depending on the customer’s country, region, local regulations, customs procedures, or shipping provider.

For orders shipped outside the European Union, or to regions subject to customs clearance, the customer acknowledges that the package may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, VAT, sales tax, handling fees, or additional local charges.

Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout, these costs are not included in the product price or shipping price and must be paid by the customer directly to the relevant authority, postal service, courier, or payment provider.

Plico Magazine is not responsible for:
  • customs duties;
  • import taxes;
  • VAT or sales tax applied by the destination country;
  • courier handling fees;
  • customs clearance fees;
  • administrative charges;
  • currency conversion fees;
  • bank charges;
  • postal service charges;
  • refusal to pay customs fees;
  • delays caused by customs authorities;
  • packages returned due to unpaid taxes, duties, or fees.

If the customer refuses to pay customs duties, import taxes, handling fees, or any other charges required for delivery, Plico Magazine will not be responsible for the failed delivery, return, delay, loss, disposal, or abandonment of the package.

In such cases, the customer will not be entitled to a refund of the product price, shipping costs, taxes, or any related charges, except where required by applicable law.

If an order is returned to Plico Magazine because the customer failed to pay customs fees, refused delivery, provided incorrect shipping information, or did not collect the package in time, the customer may be required to pay additional shipping costs for reshipment. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

9. Delivery Times

Pre-orders are expected to ship from the dispatch date indicated on the product page. This date is an estimate and may be subject to reasonable changes due to production, printing, binding, customs, postal, courier, or logistical delays.

Once an order has been dispatched, estimated delivery times are as follows:
  • Europe: approximately 5 working days from dispatch;
  • United States and international orders: approximately 10 working days from dispatch.

These delivery times are estimates only and should not be considered guaranteed delivery dates.

Customers must allow a reasonable margin of time for delivery, especially for pre-orders, international shipments, customs clearance, public holidays, courier delays, postal delays, strikes, weather disruptions, or any circumstances outside the control of Plico Magazine.

Plico Magazine is not responsible for delays caused by postal services, couriers, customs authorities, incorrect customer information, failed delivery attempts, unpaid customs charges, or events beyond its reasonable control.

A delivery delay within a reasonable timeframe does not entitle the customer to cancel, refund, or charge back a pre-order, except where required by applicable law.

10. Incorrect Shipping Information

The customer is responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information at checkout.

Plico Magazine is not responsible for orders lost, delayed, returned, or misdelivered due to:
  • incorrect address;
  • incomplete address;
  • missing apartment number;
  • wrong postal code;
  • wrong country;
  • incorrect recipient name;
  • failure to collect the parcel;
  • unavailable recipient;
  • wrong email address or phone number;
  • incorrect shipping region selected at checkout.

If a package is returned due to incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer, the customer may be required to pay additional shipping costs for the order to be resent.

Refunds will not be issued for orders lost, delayed, returned, or misdelivered due to incorrect customer information.

11. Lost, Delayed, or Returned Packages

Once an order has been handed over to the postal service, courier, or fulfilment provider, Plico Magazine is not responsible for delays caused by the shipping provider, customs authorities, or local delivery services.

If a package appears to be lost, the customer should contact Plico Magazine at hello@plicomagazine.com with their order number and shipping details.

Plico Magazine will make reasonable efforts to assist with tracking or filing a claim with the carrier where possible. However, replacement or refund decisions will be made at the sole discretion of Plico Magazine, unless otherwise required by law.

If a package is returned to Plico Magazine due to failed delivery, incorrect address, unpaid customs fees, refusal of delivery, or non-collection, the customer may be required to pay a new shipping fee for reshipment.

12. Damaged or Defective Products

Customers must inspect their order upon delivery.

If a product arrives damaged or defective, the customer must contact Plico Magazine within 7 days of delivery at hello@plicomagazine.com, including:
  • order number;
  • full name;
  • delivery address;
  • clear photographs of the damaged product;
  • clear photographs of the packaging;
  • a short description of the issue.

Damage claims submitted after this period may not be accepted.

Minor imperfections related to the nature of printed matter, including slight colour variation, paper texture variation, binding irregularities, small production marks, or minor differences from online previews, are not necessarily considered defects.

If Plico Magazine determines that the product is materially defective or damaged in transit, we may offer, at our discretion:
  • a replacement copy, subject to availability;
  • a partial refund;
  • store credit;
  • another appropriate solution.

13. Limited Availability

Plico Magazine products may be produced in limited quantities.

Placing a product in the cart does not reserve the product. An order is only confirmed once payment has been successfully completed and the customer has received an order confirmation.

If a product becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, Plico Magazine reserves the right to cancel the order and issue a refund for the unavailable product.

14. Order Confirmation

After placing an order, the customer should receive an order confirmation by email.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the email address provided at checkout is correct.

If the customer does not receive an order confirmation, they should contact Plico Magazine at hello@plicomagazine.com.

Plico Magazine reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order in cases including but not limited to:
  • suspected fraud;
  • payment issues;
  • incorrect pricing;
  • technical error;
  • unavailable stock;
  • incorrect shipping selection;
  • breach of these Terms & Conditions.

15. Payment

Payment must be completed at the time of purchase.

Orders and pre-orders are only confirmed once payment has been successfully processed.

Accepted payment methods are displayed at checkout and may include credit card, debit card, PayPal, or other payment providers.

Plico Magazine does not store full payment card details. Payments are processed securely through third-party payment providers.

16. Promotional Codes and Special Offers

Plico Magazine may occasionally offer promotional codes, special pre-order prices, or limited-time offers.

Promotional codes:
  • must be used before the order is completed;
  • cannot be applied retroactively;
  • may be limited to specific products or regions;
  • may expire without prior notice;
  • cannot be exchanged for cash.

Plico Magazine reserves the right to cancel, modify, or withdraw promotions at any time.
